If you thought the Alps meant only winter snow and skiing here are some
ideas that could make the mountains your destination for summer action
or relaxation.
TRY
• Mountain biking on an extensive network of mountain tracks, forest
paths or more technical trails on steeper terrain. Local bike hire and
instruction available.
• Rafting and hydrospeeding on the rapids of the Isere River.
• Paragliding instruction or tandem flights with licensed pilots
high above the beautiful Tarentaise.
• Via Ferrata or assisted rock climbing with metal footholds, handrails
and cables for harness attachment.
• Cycling demanding rides over cols climbed in the Tour de France.
• Canyoning the waterfalls and mountain torrents by abseiling and
diving.
• Glacier walking with qualified local guides.
OR
• Horse Riding treks lessons and courses in breathtaking alpine
scenery.
• Guided walks observing mountain flora and fauna.
• Walking all levels from gentle strolls to strenuous hikes to higher
altitudes.
• Golf on an 18 hole course in Les arcs with pure mountain air and
stunning views.
Although we do not run these options ourselves we are able to organise
them for you through our contacts with qualified guides and operators,
many of whom speak excellent English. We will also provide transport
to and from any of the summer activities.

Adventure Park
Five minutes walk from the chalet is this spectacular adventure course with zip wires and scrambling nets in the forest on the edge of the National Park.
Accommodation and Prices
We
offer full board at a daily rate of £35 per person, £25 for
under 15's. Included in this price is a continental breakfast, a packed
lunch and a three course evening meal with wine. Please note that the
summer menu, whilst being of the same high standard, is not the same as
the winter menu.
We also offer bed and breakfast only at a daily rate of £20. There are a variety of restaurants, creperies and pizzerias in the area for eating out in the evening.
